Description

Judo originated in Japan in 1882 as the modern answer to jiu jitsu. The practice combines jiu jitsu techniques with Western physical educational ideals. Judo presents a way to learn two important principles through physical training; “Maximum Efficiency” and “Mutual Welfare and Benefit.” During this martial arts class, you will practice a number of fundamental moves including falling, throwing, and ground techniques. Improving your self-defense skills will come in handy for any real-life, threatening situation. By the time you’re done, you’ll see why judo is the most practiced individual sport in the world. Judo chop!Note: This is a free trial class for first time students only.
