The College of Saints John Fisher & Thomas More says
The College of Saint Thomas More is a Catholic, Liberal Arts institution, faithful to the Magisterium of the Church, the liturgical traditions of the Roman Rite, and the intellectual, moral, and spiritual traditions of the Roman Catholicism.
The Catechism teaches that God created man to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him in this life so that he might be happy with Him forever in the next. Accordingly, as the College exists in order to help men and women achieve their supernatural end, Knowledge, Love, and Service form the pillars upon which the College is built.
The first pillar (Knowledge) is served by a rigorous course of studies that begins with the Liberal Arts and Classical Languages and culminates in Literature, Philosophy, and Theology. This curriculum enables students to deepen their knowledge of God by rightly ordering their thoughts, developing their imagination, helping them to discern order in the created world, and preparing them to receive supernatural truths communicated by divine revelation.
The second pillar (Love) is served by a commitment to fostering the spiritual and moral life of students by making the rich liturgical traditions of the Roman Rite available on campus. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacraments, sacred music, common prayer and devotions, and a commitment to moral virtue are central to the life of the College and are intended to encourage the development of supernatural life and divine charity.
