Views on Happiness (Aristotle, Nichomachean Ethics bk.1)

In this lecture/discussion video from my Spring 2012 Ethics classes at Marist College, we turn back to Virtue Ethics, and begin our discussions of Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics. This long video -- compiled from two class sessions -- sets the basis for thinking about the larger conception of Happiness, i.e. the good life, flourishing, the lifestyle we want to live and enjoy. This requires some reflection on the variety of goods, the kinds of lifestyles possible, and what it is that we need to be fully happy
