The Soul's Parts (Plato's Republic bk. 4)

In this lecture/discussion video from my Spring 2012 Ethics classes at Marist College, we come now to Plato's own moral theory -- Virtue Ethics. We examine his views on the four cardinal virtues: Justice, Prudence, Courage, and Temperance, and discuss what they are, how they develop in the soul, and what their purposes are.
