Despite being only 21 years old, David Hu is a Software Development Intern in Khan Academy, where he has proposed and implemented "The Machine Learning Model for New Proficiency Model"; now used to evaluate Khan Academy users' performance as a learning tool. He also has been an intern in Google Waterloo, ON, and Mountain View, CA, and an IT Student Analyst in TD Bank Financial Group in Toronto, ON. He studies engineering in the University of Waterloo, ON.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
