Tanya Goldhaber is a PhD student in the Engineering Design Centre at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on designing accessible and inclusive communications technology. A recipient of the prestigious Marshall Scholarship, Tanya graduated from MIT in 2010 with a degree in mechanical engineering and minors in cognitive science and music.About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
