Why Do We Educate Our Children? Mohamed Ramadan at TEDxAUC

Mohamed Ramadan is a graduate of AUC Spring 2010, where he studied Chemistry and Philosophy. During his time at AUC, he was active in University politics; having served as in the Student Senate for 6 semesters and in the Faculty Senate for 2 semesters. He was also one of the Co-Founders of The Independent, an independently-run student newspaper, and took part in other student activities as well. After graduation, Ramadan began his career in Training & Education, starting first with a multinational FMCG in Cairo, which he left to pursue his dreams in non-formal Education with the Educate-Me program.Mohamed is now the Talent Director at Educate-Me, where he applies the program's vision on it's volunteers; helping them pursue happiness and enable others to do the same.TEDxAUC on facebook: www.facebook.com/tedxaucTwitter @TEDxAUC About TEDx:In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
