TEDxBratislava - Radovan SEMANCIK - Once upon a time, there was Internet

What happens if internet becomes centralized? Internet was meant to be a network of separate units where the decentralization keeps its safety. With all the Internet giants as Google and Facebook we come to the exact opposite and we have just a small idea what consequences it might have.Radovan Semancik deals with software that serves as the basic infrastructure of Internet and enterprise services, especially as it relates to identity data. His technical mind gets unbelievably upset when software does not work as it should. And therefore his goal is to create software systems, which can work reliably and improve the current Internet. He is an advocate of total openness in software development.About TEDxIn the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
