Mansoor Khan is a renowned Director, Producer, and Film Personality. He is popularly known as the Man who made Aamir Khan a star. He made his directorial debut with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1988. The film, a soft Romeo-Juliet inspired romantic drama, became a huge success winning 10 Filmfare award and a National Film award. Coming towards the end of a decade dominated by action-oriented films, Mansoor Khans' directorial debut paved the way back for the musical romantic genre in Bollywood. The film launched many careers such as: Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Anand-Milind. After taking a break of few years, he has made a comeback albeit as a producer and has co-produced the movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, the movie that marks the debut of his nephew, Imran Khan.Mansoor Khan has been an alumnus of various prestigious institutes like IIT Bombay, Cornell University, and M.I.T.
