TEDxCooperUnion- Kent Rogowski- Everything I Wish I Could Be

Kent Rogowski is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. He has been a Critic at the Rhode Island School of Design since 2003 and has also taught at The Pratt Institute and The School of Visual Arts in New York. His first monograph, Bears, was published by powerHouse books in 2007. Rogowski has had solo shows in New York at both the Foley Gallery and the Jen Bekman Gallery. In 2009, he had his first European solo show at the In Focus Gallery in Cologne, Germany. He received his MFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design.In addition to his artwork, Rogowski was a producer on the Documentary Film, Al Otro Lado, which aired on PBS's POV series, had a theatrical release at the Museum of Modern Art, New York and was included in the 2008 Whitney Biennial.About TEDx, x = independently organized eventIn the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
