Professor Kwon, currently working in medical policy department in medical college of Seoul National University has graduated medical school and studied ethics of medical law. He has worked as chief of strategic planning In Youth Martyr Newspaper, chief of social participation in Korean Medical Association, director of Korea institute of medical education, director of Medi-peace, and head of emergency aid.He who used to be very active in volunteer medical service for rural communities in medical student years is now a doctor in action, and an intellectual doer willing to offer aids wherever there are people in need. He has participated in various emergency aids for Indonesian Tsunami, Haiti earthquake, and big earthquake of Japan. Recently, he played key role in 'Lee, Jong-Wook-Seoul Project' planning, aiming for 21st century aid model such as Minnesota Plan which became driving force for growth in Korean medical industry.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
