TEDxItaewonChange - Markus Bell - Health and Development working with North Korean refugees

Markus Bell is from New Zealand and currently a graduate student at Seoul National University, majoring in social anthropology. He has been conducting research on the North Korean refugee community residing in South Korea for the last three years. He will begin his doctoral studies from this August at The Australia National University, where he intends to build on his research, looking at the transnational aspects of the North Korean diaspora.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
