TEDxEmbryRiddle - Jason Kring - Searching for the Ideal Crew for Manned Mission to Mars

Dr. Jason Kring is an Assistant Professor and joined Embry-Riddle in August of 2005. His interests include spaceflight human factors and behavioral health and human performance in extreme environments. He is the current president of the Society for Human Performance in Extreme Environments (HPEE) and coordinates our student chapter for that group. He is also interested in team/crew performance and cultural factors in aviation and aerospace.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
