The Three AMIGOs: World's Greatest Invention: Megan Sukys at TEDxTacoma

Megan Sukys has lived in Tacoma since 1999. She produces personal stories about life in the Northwest as Executive Producer of KUOW Presents on KUOW, Seattle's NPR affiliate. She is also one-half of the creative duo, MotherFather, along with her husband, Britton. They produce animated short stories, comics and music videos.Originally from North Carolina, Megan learned early on that no event is too small, too embarrassing or too tragic to warrant a hilarious retelling. Luckily, she has endless material from growing up in a small town with a mother with M.S. and a father with a delicate condition. And, her two young children, 3 and 7, are helping add more all the time.About TEDx, x = independently organized eventIn the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
