Transforming Local Eats: Jeff McCabe at TEDxUofM

Mr. McCabe is a proponent of consumption of locally grown foods and is pioneering new methods of farming. He earned a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and has now created "Repasts, Present & Future" to support local nonprofits working in food production and education. Mr. McCabe is working to transform the way that people feed themselves everyday and challenge the paradigm of farming and foods.About TEDx, x = independently organized eventIn the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
