James A. Reeves is a writer, educator, and designer. He's a partner at New Orlean's Civic Center, a creative studio dedicated to making cities more comfortable. He's driven 75,000 miles along the backroads of America which inspired his first book, The Road to Somewhere: An American Memoir. He attended the University of Michigan to receive his BFA in Graphic Design.About TEDx, x = independently organized eventIn the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
