Unlocking Our Potential To Serve: Wilfried Eyi at TEDxBYU

We've all been told repeatedly about our human potential to do great things. In this message, Eyi attempts to introduce a framework that helps us think about and act on our individual potential to bring about a social impact in others' lives. Wilfried Eyi is a senior in finance at the Marriott School at Brigham Young University. He is a member of the Investment Banking Club and is currently the MSM Student Council vice president. Eyi is from Gabon, Central Africa, and is planning on being a front-row player in the economies of the African nations. After graduation he will be heading to Goldman Sachs & Co. in its investment banking division until he pursues an MBA. Eyi learned about impact investing through the Students for Social Entrepreneurship program in the Ballard Center. He is an associate at the University Impact Fund where he is getting a clearer picture of social entrepreneurship. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
