Mrs. Abandah is considered a pillar in the Middle East region for matters concerning Organizational Maturity and developing organizations. Nada started her career with managing high profile programs and projects in Governments, telecommunications, Software, Non-Profit sector as well as Education across the region. She is now a senior business consultant to a number of leading businesses and governments in the region and provides coaching, training and is a public speaker in her areas of expertise.Nada is the founder and Consulting Manager of a specialized organization offering organizational maturity services to the regional market -- Intrinsic Management Services & sits on the Advisory Board for the Project Management Institute representing the Middle East.A mother of an energetic 6 year-old and happy wife, Mrs. Abandah is often recognized for her achievements, and participated in a number of international and regional programs providing mentorship and training for women entrepreneurs as both a mentor and a mentee. The latest was being mentored through the Fortune Magazine Most Powerful Women in 2011, as well as mentoring two women business owner from Jordan within an EU funded project. She also sits on the Advisory Board for The Project Management Institute representing the Middle East.She holds a BA in Marketing/Computer Science from the University of Jordan, an MBA degree from New York Institute of Technology, in addition to a number of professional certificates in the areas of Organizational Maturity and project management. Mrs. Abandah is also the author of a book called "Successful Failure: How a woman entrepreneur succeed in recovering from a huge business failure" capturing her own story of how she was able to survive the financial turmoil of 2008-2009 and carries her lessons learned of everything she did wrong.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
