TEDxWallStreet - Sergio Fernández de Córdova - Media as the New Currency

Sergio Fern?ndez de C?rdova founded Fuel Outdoor in 2003, one of the top three largest outdoor advertising companies in the country. The company has over 4,000 advertising locations and six offices nationwide. Sergio heads the Real Estate, Government Affairs, and Legal Divisions at Fuel Outdoor and also co-founded de Cordova Goldman Capital Management. He is an active investor in media related companies, such as Hyper Local Ventures, The Bergen Newspaper Group, Cross Commerce Media, NLM and Vlassified. Sergio is also the Chairman of Political Affairs for "Entrepreneurs Organization," the Chairman of "New York Entrepreneur Week," and the Director of Public & Advertising Relations of the ART AWARDS at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Sergio is a board member of All For Africa Foundation, which promotes health, education, and clean water micro-financing.. He is Co-Chairman of the Young Global Leaders Board for the Global Center for Development and Democracy . He is a founding board member of the UN Foundation's new Global Entrepreneurs Council and an Official Delegate for the US Department of State's Global Entrepreneurship Program. As a graduate from Rutgers University, Sergio then went on to complete "Building the Organization: The Birthing of Giants," a program at MIT that brings together 60 handpicked entrepreneurs under the age of 40.
