Director/cinematographer Rex Miller's work has appeared in major international publications such as Time Magazine, NY Times, Rolling Stone His music subjects have included Notorious B.I.G., REM, B.B. King, Sheryl Crow, KRS, and Wynton Marsalis. He produced a long-term project on Mississippi's notorious Parchman Penitentary, and has produced award-winning documentaries for ESPN and the Tennis Channel, including SOMAY KU: A UGANDA TENNIS STORY which won best film at the Malibu Film Festival. Recent projects include cinematography work on HBO's Loving Story, short-listed in documentary for the 2012 Academy Awards and "Private Violence," executive produced by Gloria Steinem. He is currently directing a documentary on the life of Althea Gibson, the first African-American woman to win Wimbledon.
