TEDxPioneerValley - Eric Rosenbaum - Finding a Voice in Music

Eric Rosenbaum, research assistant and Ph.D. candidate in Media Arts and Sciences in MIT Media Lab's Lifelong Kindergarten Group, demonstrates his Singing Fingers software. "What does it mean to find your voice?" Eric asks, as a prelude to telling the story of how he found a way to express what is inside him through music, especially through the art of improvisation. "Making music has the power to transform us. Today I work on creating tools that I hope can help bring that magical transformation to everyone, through playful musical creation," he says.About TEDxx = independently organized eventIn the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
