TEDxIB @ York - Justine Baek - The #1 Killer of Canadian Teens

Justine Baek, after hearing that her mother's friend had died in an impaired driving crash, founded the Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving (OSAID) Chapter at Bayview Secondary School to reach out to youth and spread awareness. Last year, she sat asOSAID's Toronto Representative, speaking at the 2010 Provincial RIDE Launch, was featured on CTV and interviewed for International Baccalaureate World (magazine) .[email protected] is an event for International Baccalaureate Diploma students from all over the world to come together to experience TED talks and share ideas with peers and professionals. This event is held annually at The York School, a coeducational, non-denominational, IB, independent day school in Toronto, Canada. This event gives students a chance to see amazing speakers, musicians, artwork, poetry, videos and to connect with people from all walks of life in the spirit of "ideas worth spreading".
