Erik Meijer (1963) is a Dutch computer scientist, programmer, software architect and leader of a cloud programmability team at Microsoft. TU Delft appointed him as the first cloud programming professor as of October 1, 2011. His research touches the field of cloud computing. Erik did his inaugural speech at TEDxDelft, in 18 minutes.On 7 November 2011 over 900 people gathered in the beautiful city of Delft for the first TEDx event in Delft, the Netherlands: TEDxDelft. We had 20 live speakers on stage talking about a wide range of subjects.
