In this talk at TEDxCanberra 2011, Stephen Coleman discusses his work as an ethicist with military and police forces and his examination of whether non-lethal weapons act as a valid deterrent. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
