TEDxAcademy - Paschos Mandravelis - Paradigm Shift in the Greek Society

Journalist Paschos Mandravelis ponders if it is rational for Greeks to complain about the high taxes (needed to sustain a big State) and the shrinking of the big State, through mass lay-offs. Its presentation is focused on the paradigm shift of the Greek society analyzed based on the work of American philosopher Thomas Kuhn. Paschos was born in Kozani and studied Economics in the University of Athens and has a graduate degree in New York from New School in Social Research. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
