TEDxLaf - Bryan Fox - A Tribute to Those Lost in a New York minute

My name is Bryan Fox and I am a Lafayette Alum part of the graduating class of 2010. I was born and raised in The Bronx New York, and I strive to represent my home town to the fullest. My best memories of Lafayette include conversations with people from all over the world, and poetry nights.I learned a lot about how other people live and how their home environments helped shape their views on life. In turn, my own views on my hometown changed quite a bit and I recorded my changing perspective via poetry. I plan to be a poet for the rest of my life to give other people a glimpse into my world and where I come from. I also want to get my Master's in creative writing, followed by a Doctorate in Black masculinity so I can become a Professor. I think it would be great to be able to help young men coming from urban areas, while also incorporating my poetry.
