TEDxStHilda'sSchool - Robert Alexander - Music For Trees

Robert Alexander is a musician and co-founder of the non-profit organisation, Music For Trees. Since its establishment in 2010, and with the help of some of Australia's finest artists, Music For Trees has funded the planting of over 60, 000 trees through several music events held in Sydney, the most recent of which celebrated UN World Environment Day with Dr Jane Goodall. Robert will be talking about music and its capacity to inspire change and the emerging community-driven business-for good revolution. He may even play some tunes. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
