TEDxSaltLakeCity - Amy Lukas - Ideas that Scale

Amy Lukas, Managing Partner at Infinite Scale Design Group discusses the process of creating ideas that make you feel part of something bigger than yourself. Amy Lukas studied graphic design at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, graduating magna cum laude in 1995. Amy was the Design Project Manager in the award-winning Look of the Games department for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Her role included leading the design team from conceptual development to implementation of the Look of the Games for 10 competition venues, 10 non-competition venues, sponsor recognition and presence programs, among other multiple simultaneous design programs. Prior to moving to Salt Lake City, Amy worked in various design studios in Cincinnati, Ohio; New York City, New York; Boston, Massachusetts and Los Angeles, California. Amy is a co-founder of Infinite Scale Design Group. Infinite Scale is a specialized graphic design studio integrating brand strategy into environment and event design. Amy is the Managing Partner over all studio operations, including financial management, system administration, human resources and project management. As a managing Partner, Amy is highly involved a creative strategies for their clients and projects. Amy's role as Project Director provides the foundation for each client project as she brings her creative strategy skills to life. With her extensive background in large-scale projects and her organizational leadership, she has the experience of knowing how to manage the team effectively while delivering top quality service to the client within their budget allocation. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
