Nadine Smith has been executive director of Equality Florida since its inception in 1997, and was executive director of its predecessor, the Human Rights Task Force of Florida prior to that. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxTampaBay, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxTampaBay event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
