TEDxDuke - David Watson on What You Can Do With Who You Are Right Now

**Before watching, check out the short (~2 minute) intro video on www.fallingwhistles.com . Last summer, David and four other college students biked 3,600 miles across the United States for Falling Whistles, which is an organization campaigning for peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Over fifty-five days they spoke to hundreds of people in dozens of cities across the country.**More about DAVID WATSONDavid Watson is a sophomore at Duke University studying Conflict and Crisis Diplomacy under a proposed Program II course of study. David's studies focus primarily on Africa and the Middle East. David is also a research assistant in the Political Science Department as well as a member of the editorial board of the Duke Political Science Standard.About TEDxTEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos -- sparks deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
