CARL NORDGRENNordgren is a creative populist. He has been an entrepreneur, helping found two pioneer cellular telephone companies, two innovative marketing services firms, a semiconductor company, a software venture, a sport magazine publisher, and a new business incubator. He worked in four of the Creative Industries, and for ten years has been teaching courses in Creative Entrepreneurship at Duke University. He recently launched two new ventures—Minogi.com serves creatively entrepreneurial college students, and CreativePopulist.com promotes the importance of each of us and all of us being creatively entrepreneurial. His first job was as a fishing guide in Ontario, he has written a series of novels about his experience there, and is married to Marie Nordgren and has three daughters.About TEDxTEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading."
