Corey Anton is Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Grand Valley State University. He is an award-winning teacher and author. His books include: Selfhood and Authenticity (SUNY Press, 2001) and Sources of Significance (Purdue University Press, 2010), as well as the edited collection Valuation and Media Ecology: Ethics, Morals, and Laws (Hampton Press, 2010). Past Chair of the Semiotics and Communication Division of the National Communication Association, he is a Fellow of the International Communicology Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Media Ecology Association and on the Board of Trustees for the Institute of General Semantics.
