TEDxRyersonU - Hossein Rahnama - Ubiquitous Systems: Evolution of Context Aware Computing

Dr. Hossein Rahnama is also the Research Director of the Ubiquitous Computing Group at Ryerson University, and an instructor for the Department of Computer Science. Hossein conducts research in he Ryerson DMZ on models and techniques regarding context-aware computing. The focus of his research team centres around mobile devices used to enhance interpersonal communications while conserving power and energy. About TEDx, x = independently organized event: In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
