TEDxRyersonU - Shantae Johns - Toronto 2 Nola, Making a Difference in Louisiana

Shantae is a 4th year student at Ryerson University. Her passion lies in community development and challenging the various forms of racism within the society. Shantae is the President of the United Black Students at Ryerson and is currently planning the 2nd Annual National United Black Students Conference which will be welcoming over 100 hundred black students from across Canada to the Ryerson campus.http://tedxryersonu.ca/speakers/#ShantaeJohnsAbout TEDx, x = independently organizedevent:In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local,self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-likeexperience.
