Luke Spring is a 7-year-old tap dancing sensation from the DC Metropolitan area. Tap dancing since the age of 4, Luke developed his passion by listening to music, drumming and watching other tap dancers while repeating their rhythms through drum patterns and beats. Luke made his debut performance in March at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, where he performed an a capella number at the 2nd Annual Washington DC Tap Festival. Luke could not be successful today without the love and support of his parents, Mick and Jill Spring. What is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
