Ickovics, Ph.D. is Professor and Director of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Yale School of Public Health, where she also serves as Director of CARE: Community Alliance for Research and Engagement. Dr. Ickovics investigates the interplay of complex biomedical, behavioral, and psychosocial factors that influence individual and community health. Her research (funded by NIH, CDC, private foundations) is characterized by methodological rigor and cultural sensitivity. She is author of over 120 peer-reviewed publications.
