TEDxBratislava - Vladimír Bužek - Borges, Kafka, Kehlmann and a little bit of quantum theory

Excellent Slovak world-class physicist, prize-winner of the awards Hlava roka 2008. He studied theoretical physics at Moscow State University leads the Research Center for Quantum Information at the Institute of Physics of Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. He is also a professor of informatics at Masaryk University in Brno. He wrote more than 200 scientific papers - probably the most quoted Slovak scientist. He taught at Imperial College London, National University of Ireland, Maynooth, University of Ulm in Germany, in SOKEN in Japan and elsewhere. He is involved in and managing several european research projects. His specialty is quantum information theory and quantum optics. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
