Franco La Cecla, (Palermo 1950) is an anthropologist and architect who taught in Berkeley, Bologna and Milan. He lectured on Cultural Anthropology at the Universities of Venice, Verona and Palermo, and he was guest lecturer at Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris. He is an author of many essays on daily anthropology and he published for eleuthera Mente Locale, Saperci fare and together with Melo Minnella, L'Ape, antropologia su tre ruote. He curated with Maurizio Tosi the catalogue Bruce Chatwin in Afghanistan (Bruno Mondadori, 2000). In his book, Jet-lag, he focuses on risks and problems affecting current travellers. He is the author of Modi bruschi, anthropology of male, director and author of the show: Lasciami, Ignoranza dei congedi.
