Wonder what a business scholar thinks we need to lead and manage for sustainability? Rocki-Lee DeWitt is a Professor of Management in the School of Business at the University of Vermont. Dr. DeWitt's current research focuses on the evolution of land-based, value-added industries with a special consideration of the role of family businesses in that evolution. For today's TEDx presentation she will argue that to lead manage sustainability we need both business and earth-literate citizenry. She will explain this concept and provide tools and techniques to foster earth literacy. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
