TEDxMarin - David Arquette - Personal Philanthropy: Donating Time, Talent or Treasure

David Arquette is an actor, writer, director, and producer who's unique sensibility makes him one of the most versatile talents working in the entertainment industry today able to segue from comedy to drama with extraordinary ease. In January 2003, Arquette formed a production company, Coquette Productions, with his gorgeous talented sexy hilarious loving wife, Courteney Cox. Through their company, Arquette wrote and produced his directorial debut, THE TRIPPER (it was a big hit in Amsterdam) and THE BUTLERS IN LOVE, which he serves as executive producer and director. Also under the Coquette banner, Arquette produced the FX drama, DIRT and ABC's "Cougar Town," with Bill Lawrence which Arquette executive produces with the amazing gifted comic genius Cox, also starring. In addition, Arquette is developing a full slate of feature film and television projects. Two years ago, along with his friends Ben Harper and David Bedwell, Arquette launched the clothing line Propr which started out in Arquette's garage and has grown to mass retail (eat your heart out Diddy). Arquette often gives his time to charitable causes (but never talks about it) and has recently been named the Chairman of the Entertainment Counsel for Feeding America. Arquette also gives time to children's organizations such as EB/MRF, which benefits children with Epidermolysis Bullosa, The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and Art of Elysium.
