TEDxAshokaU - Nicole Letelier - 2/19/10

Nicole M. Letelier is currently pursuing a master's degree in Organizational Change Management at Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy. In the summer of 2008 Nicole attended StartingBloc's Institute for Social Innovation at the London Business School and has remained an active alumnus co-chairing the 2009 Social Innovation Competition during the Greater New York Institute and helping implement the inaugural Alumni-Led Scholarship Fundraising Campaign. She is the 2009 recipient of the inaugural StartingBloc Fellow of Year Award. Nicole is currently the Director of Scholar Support and Career Development at the Heckscher Scholars Program. She was recently selected to join The New School-Ashoka Partnership where she is involved in a cross campus effort to create an enabling community of practice where students can actualize their full potential as changemakers. About TEDx, x=independently organize event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self- organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
