TEDxWarsaw - Richard Berkeley - 3/5/10

Richard Berkeley was trained as a musician in London and has co-founded Baroque and classical orchestras in Britain, Italy and now Poland, while pursuing parallel careers as a singer/actor and writer/producer. He has created and presented programmes for the BBC, RAI and TVP and worked with some of the leading film and television actors and directors on both sides of the Atlantic. He is also an accomplished executive coach and is heavily involved in promoting entrepreneurship and development of civil society in Poland. Richard is serving as the Chairman of Fundacja Nowa Orkiestra Kameralna (New Chamber Orchestra Foundation) and is interested in using music as a means of developing democracy. He is a passionate ambassador for Warsaw as a City of Culture and calls himself an Anglo-Pole. About TEDx, x=independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events which bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.
