Maharaja: Behind the Scenes - Conservation of Armor

Textile conservator Elizabeth-Anne Haldane describes how this distinctive metal-studded armor from the 1700s was made, and how she prepared this fragile textile for exhibition. This armor will be on view at the Asian Art Museum in the exhibition, Maharaja: Splendor of the India's Royal Courts (from October 21, 2011 through April 8, 2012).
