Light up the night with simple luminaries! With a few basic materials you can make multiples of these to enhance your winter decorating. Roll out vinyl flashing. Be sure to anchor down the edges down so it does not roll up. Make sets of marks every 20 inches and cut to make each luminary. Next take one of the cut pieces and attach it to a scrap piece of wood with clamps. Using a drill and various sized bits, make a pattern. You can be symmetrical or totally random. With the template made, you can clamp up to 10 pieces on the wood, and drill the holes in each of them. Once finished drilling, roll the vinyl into a cylinder leaving a 1'' overlap, and staple at the top and bottom. Place in the snow with a votive or and LED votive and you have a wonderful display.
