To install new line in the SpeedSpool 2 cutting head, align the arrows on the cutting head knob with the eyelets on the outer spool. Cut about 10 feet of .095 inch rounded replacement line. Push one end into one of the eyelets and feed it through to the other side until it is evenly distributed. Turn the cutting head knob counterclockwise until there is about 5 inches of line left. The clicking sound means the line is being wound properly. Start the unit according to the instructions. To extend the line, squeeze the trigger fully and hold. Now bump the head on the ground. The SpeedSpool 2 is the newest line feed option from Troy-Bilt and is easy for anyone to use.
