Troy-Bilt's How to Till Garden Soil

Troy-Bilt has built rugged dependable tillers since 1937 to help your soil and yards. As you begin to till your land, be sure that you inspect your tiller to make sure it is capable of the job. Inspect the tiller by checking the tines and adding fuel. Adjust the depth steak and gently push the tines down, letting the wheels do the work. Troy-Bilt's tillers are equipt with a heavy duty cast iron transmission with a bronze gear drive so the wheels do the work. Established garden or yard beds should only require a few passes. Tilling in this years plants will speed up decomposition process and reduce insect infestation. For new ground, gradually work your way deeper and deeper by lowering the tines with each pass. To get a nutrient rich soil be sure to add soil enhances such as compost, pete moss or compost. Remember to clean the tines between passes. This is especially beneficial for new ground.
