To extend the life of your walk behind mower, change the oil regularly and definitely after each season. To change the oil you will need a drop cloth, cleaning brush, oil vac, container, a piece of plastic and oil. Remove the grass bag, and brush off any grass under the mower. Turn on the mower and let it run for about a minute to heat up the oil, it will drain smoother. Remove the spark plug so it is safe to work on and doesn't accidentally turn on. Remove the oil cap and dipstick. Tip the mower on its side to drain the oil. Be sure to not let any oil get on the corroborator or the gas tank. Add new oil. Use an oil funnel and fill the container. Be sure to check with the dipstick regularly so you do not overfill. Turn upright and the mower is ready to go. For other useful tips and suggestions, visit http://www.Lowes.com/Videos.
