Shop Class Adirondack Chair - Part 2: The Back of the Adirondack Chair

In this video we will be assembling the back of the chair. The back consists of five back slats, two slat braces and an arm brace. Cut the back slats to 36''. Cut the braces to size as well. Cut the arm support brace to length using a table saw set at 25 degrees. Using a jigsaw, cut the rounded bottoms. Now it is time to assemble the back. Attach the braces with wood glue and screws. Finally you want to make the curved back. Using a compass, draw the curve, use a jigsaw to cut, sand and you are done!
