How to Install Wire Shelves for a More Organized Closet

Wire closet system is a great way to organize and keep it clutter free. After you have bought the correct wire shelving in the correct measurements and amounts for your closet, it is time to install. For this project you will need: level, drill, pencil, ladder, stud finder, bolt cutter and fasteners. First prep the closet by removing all clothes and objects. Begin by installing the hang tracks. Use a level and mark the holes and fasten with screws. Attach the vertical standards onto to the hang tracks. For maximum versatility use long standards for extra strength and more shelving options. Once they are hung, make sure they are level and screw them into the wall. Install the shelving brackets into the standards. Place the shelves on the brackets and snap into place. Snap closet rod supports into the shelving, then snap the closet rods into the supports. Install accessories and install shelf caps, and you are done.
