James Kalm invites viewers to explore a new artsy neighborhood at the eastern edge of Williamsburg known as Mo Jo. With a real estate market gone wild, arts activists are searching ever further east for available exhibition space. A cluster of cutting edge grass root galleries has metastasized in this district between the Morgan and Jefferson Street stops on the L Line. We pop in first at 3rd Ward for "Vertigoes" by Nate Green and Owen Schoppe. From there, we bike to English Kills for some moonshine tasting at "Knuckelhead Blues" by Jason Eisner and an interview with Brent Owens. We wrap up with a peak of "Bodies at/in Motion" currated by Brian Balderston at NUTUREART.
